If you are a student and studying for something in culture, communication, the humanities or the creative sector, you can be a student member of DIK. We can support you in everything from choosing your path in your future career to what salary you ought to have when you enter working life. You get access to all our membership benefits, but only pay SEK 100 for the duration of your studies (then, when you have started working, you pay a small fee during your first as a new graduate).

Our career coaches give you tips and advice ahead of looking for a placement or job. Get help improving your CV, personal letters or LinkedIn profile. We also offer interview training so that you feel prepared ahead of your first job interview after graduating.
Salary coach
When you move into the labour market, it can be a good idea to book an appointment with a salary coach so as to get a picture of the salary level in your future industry. The salary coach helps you with negotiating tactics and how to prepare for the salary dialogue. Your first salary sets the bar for what your salary growth will be like, so it is important to know how much you can ask for as a new graduate.
Accident insurance
A student accident insurance policy from Akademikerförsäkring is included in membership in DIK for all students up to the age of 67. You can also buy a home insurance policy for SEK 78 per month – perfect for small student housing!
Tusen frågor [A thousand questions] talk support
As a student member, you get free talk support by phone where you can get advice and guidance from a psychologist, health educator, dietician, occupational therapist, lawyer or economist. You can ask questions about your private life or job and the talks are always confidential.
